Let
Marine IT Solutions build a safer tomorrow for you today.
We create the safest, most secure, and reliable communication and
navigation systems via our extensive experience in the marine industry
and computer aided design engineering. We keep our systems
safe and reliable through responsive pre and post delivery training
and ILS application support.
Marine IT Solutions is a Louisiana corporation with our headquarters centrally
located in the Gulf Coast region, just outside of New Orleans. Additionally we have a satellite office that
is located in a technical complex in the Detroit area. Our headquarters houses our engineering
department, accounting, sales offices, Factory Acceptance Testing
(FAT) lab, manufacturing facility and a shipping receiving department;
all meeting ISO 9000 requirements. Our facilities recently survived
the onslaught of hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
We
are a small business with the integrity and experience you would
expect in a fortune 500 company. Our company mission is to set a
new standard in customer satisfaction through our support before,
during and even more importantly after the sale. Our unsurpassed
engineering team is dedicated to being a proactive member of your
team. Individually, our team has provided equipment and support
for hundreds of Commercial, United States Government, and Foreign
Government marine vessels and has over 100 years combined business
ownership experience.
Marine IT Solutions is built upon the strong foundation of technical, service and
business experience to provide each customer with the highest value
systems available in the world. We have hand chosen our staff leaders
from the technical and business community with a proven record of
success. Marine IT Solutions staff leaders hold numerous patents
and have frequently published technical papers in industry journals.
Dr. Hamid,
who has advanced degrees in both chemical and mechanical engineering,
has been a leader in providing mathematical modeling solutions to
meet the many challenges in the engine control and monitoring field.
He has developed and manufactured engine controls that meet the
technical demands of high speed precise operation under all conditions.
His team has pioneered technical solutions to various control system
problems that have challenged industry.
Mr. David Darr
has over twenty-five years experience in marine communication and
navigation project management, design, training, amongst other areas
of expertise within the industry. Mr. Darr is very successful in
marketing and winning large projects among which were U.S. Coast
Guard Coastal Patrol Boats (CPB) and the U.S. Coast Guard Deepwater
123' vessel program. He, in coordination with the prime contractors'
engineers, designed competitive electronics packages for both of
these projects. Additionally, Mr. Darr trained over 450 active U.S.
Coast Guard personnel and has extensive experience in purchasing,
shipping and receiving management.
Mr.
Steven Darr has over 30 years of experience leading his team in solving
challenging technical problems with advanced systems. His expertise
is with advanced system engineering. He has worked extensively in
advanced systems and math modeling. His modeling experience was focused
on value optimization, which uses computer simulations to determine
the system with the best value. Thousands of combinations are evaluated
for function and cost to yield the highest value for the customer.
There are many combinations of technology available in our world today
but only one provides the best value. Value must provide function,
including service, and at the lowest cost possible. Mr. Steven Darr
has received several awards for his work in this area.
